Purpose: The OrangeWare drivers will allow wire adapter, PCI host card and motherboard manufacturers a “jumpstart” into the UWB market. By licensing the OrangeWare driver for Windows operating systems, hardware chip manufacturers will be able to provide the host card and motherboard manufacturers a complete “working now” UWB solution without having to wait for Microsoft's “Longhorn” release. Additionally, if developers are planning to include extended features or supersets of the MBOA specification, OrangeWare is committed to provide support for these extensions and special features which may not be supported by Microsoft.

Details:

* OrangeWare will provide a Windows 98SE, Me , 2000 and XP driver to support UWB for licensed hardware products.

* OrangeWare will complete a test matrix for the manufacture's hardware devices with the driver on all support ed Windows platforms.

* OrangeWare will provide ongoing technical support with regard to UWB driver and licensed hardware devices per the Software Licensing Agreement.

* OrangeWare to provide a certified letter of compliance of licensed hardware device with OrangeWare driver directly to hardware manufacturer.

* OrangeWare to provide regular software updates to hardware manufacturers to include bug fixes and newly support ed features.
